Interviewing can be fun and exciting—the thrill of adding new capabilities to your team, thoughts of growth and expansion. Yet, we seldom recognize the cost of moving too quickly. Hiring for the wrong reasons. Rushing the process.

As the old axiom goes: Hire slowly and fire quickly. The law boosts the standard salary from $23,660 to $47,476 for exempt employees and goes into effect December 1, 2016.  For exempt employees who do not meet the minimum salary requirements of this law, there are several options the business can take to become compliant.
