10 Tips to Secure Your Company  from an IT Breach
THIS Thursday, August 31st -- see below for times, locations and how to RSVP.

Are your personal computers, laptops, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, iPhones, etc., configured to block a data security incident or the threat of being hacked?  As a government contractor, how quickly would your office resolve a computer breach?  Apply a few solutions as an essential first step to protecting your business, and become more competitive to win government contracts.

Some topics include:
- How Secure is the Cloud and why should I use it?
- Which business and systems applications are best for my business?
- How should I manage my documents and data?
- How strong are my passwords and how often do they need to changed?
- How do I protect myself from hackers?
- What antivirus software should I use?
- How do I minimize the cost of IT support and find on-demand, real-time help?

Two of PTAC's sponsor SMEs will give this presentation and discussion:

Blake Schwank is the CEO of Colorado Computer Support,  He will provide hands-on tips to secure and prevent computer security issues from inside or outside predators.

Bob Fleming is the founder and CEO of Black Square Technologies -  Black Square has designed, engineered and produced a patented, USB based real time, transparent, on-the-go hardware encryption and key management device they named ‘Enigma.’  Enigma is compatible with both WIN and MAC operating systems and any USB protocol.  Further, Enigma does not store data. Once authenticated to your computer or network, Enigma can monitor all data-on your PC, server, backup drive, NAS device, as well as all cloud storage applications.

CDOT has selected Kiewit Meridiam Partners (KMP) as the preferred proposer to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central 70 Project. KMP was chosen from four teams of finalists who submitted proposals for the project in early June. Over the next few months, CDOT will work with KMP to finalize the contract. KMP is expected to be fully on board by 2018 with construction scheduled to begin in spring of 2018. In addition to submitting a proposal that will deliver Central 70 on time and on budget, KMP will further CDOT’s commitment to local communities, including a $1 million contribution from KMP to student scholarships and other community programs.
KMP also brings a proven track record of delivering some of Colorado’s largest and most complex projects, including Denver Union Station, I-225 Rail Line, Pecos Street Over I-70 Bridge Replacement, the US 34 Big Thompson Canyon Emergency Repairs, and the Transportation Expansion (T-REX) project. Kiewit's 70-year presence in Colorado also includes building the second bore of the Eisenhower Johnson Memorial Tunnel in 1975.  Learn More...
